As a member of the IT Ops team you will be entrusted with the configuration, maintenance and reliable operation of all computer systems, servers and services. Due to the diverse nature of the company's technical and non-technical activities, the IT Ops team is constantly challenged with finding effective ways to support the organization. Your role mainly includes the following activities:
+ Participate in creating and executing the IT strategy at all GrAI Matter Labs world-wide sites.
+ Pro-actively administer our on-prem, colocated and cloud infrastructure.
+ Maintain a safe and efficient IT work environment for the company.
+ Participate in desktop and help-desk support efforts as well as providing local support, with an emphasis on minimizing those efforts.

+ Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
+ Inside-out knowledge of Linux operating systems and their administration (RHEL and Debian derivatives).
+ Excellent shell-scripting and automation skills. Fluent knowledge of configuration management tools, preferably SaltStack.
+ Experience with running services on bare-metal, containerized (Podman, Docker) and in virtualized (Libvirt, Proxmox) environments.
+ Knowledge of procurement and physical setup of bare-metal servers and network equipment is a plus.
+ Good understanding of networking and managing common network services (routing, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP).
+ Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and centrally-managed work environments (FreeIPA, NFS, managed desktops).
+ Experience with compute clusters, workflow management and job queues is a plus (e.g. Slurm).
+ Experience with at least one cloud provider, preferably Azure is a plus.
+ Experience with EDA tools (license servers, environment setup) is a plus.
+ Experience with Office 365, endpoint management, and Microsoft Windows administration is a plus.
