Job description

As a Robotic Engineer, you will be developing and integrating MX3D's robotic 3D printer software. You will be in charge of designing, developing, and implementing improvements for our robotic 3D printers. You are part of the development SCRUM team. We work mainly with ABB, but we support KUKA robots as well. Our full 3D metal printing system called M1 is based on ABB.

The position requires hands-on robotic skills in ABB Rapid or KUKA KRL. Knowledge of CE marking and certification/qualification is welcomed.

When you are not improving the robot printers in Amsterdam, you will be traveling to our clients all over the world to help install our printing installations, as well as training our clients.

Responsibilities include

- Worldwide deployment of Robotic Cells

- Structuring, developing, and maintenance of Amsterdam facility

MX3D is growing fast and as a result, we are looking to add several talented robotics engineers to our team. You and your new colleagues will continue development with the existing team and deploy our turn-key robotic M1 Metal AM System worldwide., MX3D is an Amsterdam-based company that revolutionized large-scale 3D metal printing.

We brought Robotic Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) and its market to life and made 3D metal printing more flexible, faster, and cheaper. WAAM technology uses an industrial welding robot to manufacture large metal parts layer-by-layer

MX3D became the innovation leader in 3D metal printing by presenting its 12 meters long fully functional 3D-printed stainless steel pedestrian bridge.

Now, MX3D is ready to transform the market further by launching the first dedicated robotic WAAM software and M1 metal AM System to allow our customers to print in-house.

We have customers across the globe. So our deployment staff needs a healthy cosmopolitan attitude and enjoy spending time abroad., MX3D is a fun international company to work for. We grow fast and have an informal but ambitious culture. We offer a good salary with the opportunity to eventually also become co-owner of the company. You will be based in Amsterdam, and travel the world.
