For our Engineering team in Amsterdam we are looking for a talented Web developer, who feels right at home in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
You will be working on our landing page and source of our education and publications material,, maintaining the existing CMS solution while working on extending it with new features and integrations. With a tech-stack of Sanity, React, Next.js and Vercel you will be working on top of the latest developments, improving our user experience, our processes, automations and SEO rankings.
You will be part of the Frontend Chapter, within which and together with like-minded developers you will facilitate your growth and personal development.You will work as the major contributor of the roadmap - you will define, refine, prioritize and own it with collaboration from Marketing and Product teams.

In this role you will:

* Take over website project management responsibilities from Marketing and Design (due to recent launch), including new CMS development, bug triaging, and investigation.
* Develop dedicated campaign-/micro-sites to promote new products and/or highlight recent developments.
* Partner with key stakeholders in Marketing, Product, Design, and Engineering to set requirements and implement new feature enhancements.
* Own the feature roadmap into the future.
* Collaborate with design and marketing to maintain, enhance and grow a modular block-based CMS in support of upcoming initiatives.
* Ensure the highest performance standards to increase conversions and lead generation, including SEO and performance marketing best practices.
* Review and respond to operational issues, escalating as necessary.
* Ultimately, set up for success over the long-term.

The team
The engineering team owns all of technology within Secfi. Our engineers organize in chapters for each discipline, in which all members help each other with personal and professional growth. Each chapter has a lead who supports the engineers and is responsible for one on ones, career path planning, hiring and the chapter's culture. Secfi's product owners pitch projects that are then tackled by squads formed from the chapters.
Cross-cutting concerns are addressed in our dedicated "Communities of Practice": Self-managed groups of engineers with a strong interest in a particular field. We are proactive problems solvers who love cooperation and open feedback and who actively seek out help when needed.


* Demonstrated passion for building comprehensive, intelligent and elegant solutions.
* 3+ years of industry experience in Full-stack web development.
* Prior experience working with Vercel, Sanity, React, Next.js or similar tools/frameworks
* Web development experience in programming languages such as Javascript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS
* Knowledge and understanding of SEO standard methodologies
* Know-how and experience in speaking the languages of "Marketing" and "Engineering"
* Specialty in project management and cross-functional collaboration
* Fintech startup experience
* BS/MS in Computer Science or similar OR well made showcase projects of own work
* Independent personality, happy to take full-ownership of projects
* Communication & team collaboration skills, aware of when to reach out for collaboration and feedback, even across functions
* Strong record of professional achievement, work ethic, and positive attitude.
* Strong business sense.
